The sub-40 horsepower tractor segment led segment losses, down 27.9% according to the latest data from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
Some 19,836 tractors in the under 40 horsepower tractor category were sold in the U.S. in May, down 15.9% from 23,587 sold in the same month last year.

The latest report from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers shows unit sales increases in December and year to date for under 40 horsepower 2WD tractors in the U.S. and Canada compared last year. Sales of 40-100 horsepower 2WD tractors were down in the U.S. and Canada compared to last year.
