Husqvarna delivered a record second quarter with strengthened market positions and strong performance in all divisions and main regions.

Husqvarna's record first quarter results were driven by new innovations and expanded product listings, the company notes. Organic sales growth was 24% with solid performance in all divisions and main regions, compared with the corresponding quarter last year, which was partly affected by Covid-19 related restrictions.

Husqvarna AB (HUSQB), the world's biggest maker of powered garden tools, plans to cut about 600 jobs in a move that will save 220 million kronor ($33 million) a year by 2014.
