Tractor Supply Company is supporting its communities and customers in Texas by donating $100,000 to agriculture, pet and livestock organizations in the Lone Star State recovering from the recent winter storms.

Donations to the relief fund will go directly to equipment dealerships and their employees in Hurricane Harvey’s affected areas surrounding Houston, Texas.

Additional tractors and utility vehicles have been made available to dealers for immediate use in rebuilding efforts. Equipment is immediately available to government entities, companies and customers to ease the burden of access to a larger fleet for clean-up efforts. The combined donation of cash, services and equipment will be $1.5 million.

Southeastern Equipment donated two rental machines, both Case TR310 compact track loaders equipped with grapple buckets, to use in cleaning up a hospital complex and neighborhood in Detroit, Mich.

Mahindra Automotive North America announced its third round of urban agriculture grants, totaling $100,000 to 6 non-profits.

The donation to Austin Peay State University is to help farm faculty and students in both maintaining the farm and educating students on modern agricultural practices.

Over the past 4 years, the dealership has raised more than $120,000 for local charities through its annual holiday event.
