John Deere dealers Prairie State Tractor and Martin Tractor are merging with Heritage Tractor. The combined dealership now operated 43 stores across Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Illinois.

The acquisition will be finalized on December 1, 2024. With this acquisition, Johnson Tractor will have 11 locations in Wisconsin and Illinois. 

Martin Deerline and Agland announce they will merge operations effective July 31, 2024, subject to necessary approvals and due diligence.

The recent purchase of Kubota of Denver by the Bob Howard Luxury Auto Group has many industry watchers scratching their heads and pondering possible changes afoot in farm machinery marketing.

With this transition, the product offering in Waycross, Ga., will expand to include a wide array of John Deere parts and equipment, including tractors and compact construction equipment.

Currently, Hoefling has 2 locations on the same campus including Hoefling Truck & Tractor, which H&R acquired on October 3, and Hoefling Lawn & Cycle Sales, which H&R plans to acquire later this year.

The merger brings United Ag & Turf’s footprint to 65 John Deere Ag & Turf stores, plus an additional 14 locations of John Deere Construction & Forestry dealerships operated by its sister company, United Construction & Forestry.
