Segway Navimow, developer of smart outdoor robotics, has announced it is expanding distribution for more accessibility for end-consumers in the U.S. with Orgill, North America’s largest independent hardware distributor, serving over 13,000 retail locations across the hardware, farm & garden, and home center sectors. This collaboration marks a pivotal step in bringing Segway Navimow’s cutting-edge robotic mowers to physical retailers, complementing its dominant online presence.
The company also reported that in 2024, Segway Navimow solidified its leadership in the U.S. robotic mower market through online channels, securing the top sales position during Amazon’s Prime Day multiple events. Building on this success in accelerating retail expansion, the partnership with Orgill will streamline access to Navimow’s award-winning products for retailers of all sizes, from local garden centers to national chains. This move aligns with growing consumer demand for eco-friendly, automated lawn care solutions, according to the company.
Tech Summit Supports Dealer Understanding of Robotic Lawncare
In February, Segway Navimow held its first Tech Summit with participation of over 100 dealers and partners from across the U.S. who convened for an immersive deep dive into the brand’s latest advancements, including its groundbreaking X3 Series. Segway’s new robotic mower was designed to redefine efficiency for large-scale lawn care, according to the company. It provides mowing capacity of up to 2.5 acres, and combines precision navigation with enhanced durability, offering homeowners and commercial users a seamless solution for maintaining expansive outdoor spaces. Its debut at CES 2025, as reported by Rural Lifestyle Dealer in January, drew widespread acclaim for its advanced robotics technology and highly efficient performance.
The event featured sessions like a hands-on demo, dealer support, interactive Q&As, and strategic discussions to chart the course for the year ahead. By equipping dealers and partners with in-depth product knowledge and strategic tools, the company says that the brand aims to strengthen its global footprint and deliver unmatched value to customers.
Beta Test for Navimow App 3.0
The company also announced that it is urging users to participate in the beta test for its next level of intelligent lawn care with the Navimow APP 3.0. It notes that the app helps to make mowing smarter, more efficient, and more personalized, our latest upgrade brings cutting-edge technology straight to your lawn, and listed the following new benefits:
- Voice Control: Hands-free mowing is now a reality as the app allows users to control their Navimow effortlessly via Alexa & Google Home.
- Traction Control System (TCS) : The company reports this is the first-ever robotic mower equipped with off-road–vehicle grade traction control, offering superior grip, reduced turf damage, and seamless navigation across five challenging terrains.
- Intelligent Weather Responsiveness: Navimow says this takes the guesswork out of the process for users and monitors real-time weather forecasts and automatically adjusts mowing schedules. If bad weather approaches, it pauses mowing and returns to the dock, keeping your lawn protected.
