Artillian, a division of Curtis Industries, known best for its modular tractor attachments and accessories, has announced the release of a new Land Plane that fits a 3-point hitch and is quick hitch compatible, with hitch pins and quick hitch bushings included.
The company reports that this implement is for compact and sub-compact tractor owners looking to smooth out uneven terrain and is made from North American steel and high-strength structural steel tubing. The 3/8” thick, curved, double-beveled cutting edges are made from high-carbon 1084 steel and can be reversed for additional longevity. Adjustable formed and welded skid shoes allow for cutting depths from 0” – 1”. Scarifier shanks are included for ripping through compacted soil.

An optional cinder block holder increases weight by up to an additional 220 pounds. In addition, the company offered the following summary of the 54-Inch Land Plane specs: weight at ~400 pounds; dimensions are W: 60 1/2” W, 47 1/8” L and H: 33 ¼” H; with a 5° cutting angle.

Artillian was acquired by Curtis Industries, LLC in 2017 and operates from Curtis’s Headquarters and Manufacturing Plant in West Boylston, Mass.
