April revenue for tractor dealers dropped 12% year-over-year, according to Constellation Dealership Software's latest monthly market update, which analyzes transactional sales data from a consistent group of 229 dealers reporting over the past three years.
The report is based on a group of dealers who have reported their data over the previous 3 years. The dealer count, wholegood unit sale count, and total sales numbers above show the actual number of dealers and total sales being analyzed. It represents combined sales of parts in all departments, wholegood sales and service repairs.
Dealers reported 81 million total sales in April 2025, down 10 million from 2024 and down 12% from March 2025.
U.S. and Canada Both See Double-Digit Declines
The U.S. market reported an 11% year-over-year decline in April revenue. All regions were down for the month, with the Midwest leading the drop at -13%, followed by the South (-12%) and West (-11%). The Northeast fared slightly better, declining 5%.
In Canada, revenue growth fell 18% in April. This comes after two consecutive months of growth in February and March, +43% and +101%, respectively.
