Andrew Heilman, a key member of the Kawasaki Engines and Power Products Division staff since 2002, has been promoted to the position of Business Projects Specialist. He will have a broad opportunity to aid the company’s growth with responsibilities focused in the areas of relationship management, strategic planning, and communications as they apply to the formulation of new business opportunities and projects.

Joining Kawasaki as a Dealer Technical Trainer, Heilman became OEM Applications Engineer in 2006. His primary role included interaction with the company’s sales managers and engineering and sales staffs at partner OEM companies. Together, they performed and revised engine testing specifications and monitored installation configurations to assure top level performance and warranty compliance.

In his new position, Heilman will link Kawasaki’s business goals into multi-year projects, while maintaining priority oversight and assuring continuity of project elements so that they meet completion goals in a timely manner.

According to Rodger Howe, Executive Director of the Division, “Drew’s involvement in various aspects of our recent growth easily qualifies him to assume this very important post. We anticipate that his contributions to our future will be significant, and we’re all looking forward to working with him in this new capacity.”

Heilman is a graduate of Michigan State University’s MBA Program, with an emphasis in supply chain management and leadership and change management. He also has a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University in automotive engineering technology and business management.
