Waukesha-based Generac announced Friday it has purchased Arkansas generator company Baldor Electric, according to a news release.
Generac, which manufactures portable and home generators at a large Whitewater facility, said Friday it completed a purchase agreement with Baldor of Fort Smith, Ark. Baldor “markets, designs and manufacturers industrial electric motors, mechanical power transmission products and drives,” according to the release, and also has a line of generators.
