LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Although Taiwan Golden Bee (TGB) is a global leader in the ATV market, they are shifting their North American market focus to become the total solution provider for the UTV industry. The Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) is where TGB will unveil its 1000 Series UTV prototype and new business strategy. They will also be hosting a special seminar for the Green Industry professionals on the opportunities in the UTV sector as part of GIE+EXPO at the Kentucky Exposition Center on Oct. 17-19.

“There is a promising UTV market in the US, but it is limited to a few players, such as Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, BRP and John Deere,” says TGB President George Lin. “We would like to change that perception. This year it is time to introduce the concept of TGB as the Total Solution Provider for the UTV industry.”

In 2018 TGB has become the UTV Total Solution Provider, producing everything from engine packages to complete UTVs, Lin adds. “There are not many companies in the world like TGB… we produce everything from engines to turnkey UTVs. TGB is also a trusted supplier of key components to a growing number of strategic partners. The design and development of A-Arms, brakes, CVTs, differentials, driveshafts, EPS and even EFI systems is all done in-house.”

TGB’s vision is based on creating value-added products. “We are market oriented, with comprehensive design capabilities,” explains Lin. “Our advanced technology results in superior performance — our 997cc engine has the highest horsepower and greatest torque of any comparable UTV on the market.”

TGB started manufacturing components for Vespa scooters back in the 1960s. Since that time, the company has become a global leader in ATVs and scooters, selling hundreds of thousands of units worldwide.

“Now is the time for TGB to become known for its UTV expertise,” explains export manager Daniel Hsieh. “We continue to supply powertrain technology to well known companies in North America, but we want the Green Industry and the powersports market to know TGB can create UTVs from sketches, through prototyping to final production machines,” says Hsieh. “Our proprietary 1000 Series UTV will be the centerpiece of TGB’s display at GIE+EXPO.”

“We want to bring the enjoyment and fun to the customer, reliability and value to the dealers and protect intellectual property rights and be a trusted strategic partner,” says Lin. To that end, the 997cc fuel injected powerplant has undergone EPA and CARB testing and certification.
