NEW DELHI, India — Indian tractor maker Mahindra & Mahindra reported an 18% decline in total unit sales. According to a published report, the company sold 37,581 tractors in September. This compares with 45,788 units in September 2017.

Year-over-year sales in India of the company’s equipment dropped by 19% to 35,953 units vs. 44, 220 a year ago. Exports for the month increased by 4% to 1,628 units year-over-year compared to 1,568 units in September 2017.
