The Equipment Dealers Assn. (EDA) announces the election of its new chairman of the board, Ivan Dorhout. Dorhout has served on the board of directors since 2015 and was elected vice chairman in 2018. Dorhout is replacing Tom Rosztoczy and will serve 2 years as EDA’s chairman.
Dorhout is the owner of Town & Country Implement, a Case IH, New Holland and Kubota dealership with stores in Iowa. Dorhout has owned the dealership since 1979 and has grown a single location with 3 employees into 2 locations with more than 40 employees. Dorhout has previously served as the chairman for the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Assn. and currently holds a seat on its board of directors.
“Selecting Dorhout as EDA’s next chairman was a simple decision,” says Rosztoczy, outgoing chairman. “He is a leader within the board, at the regional level and in his community. EDA members could not have a better advocate at the national level.”
Rosztoczy will remain on the board as past chair for one year. A new vice chair will be elected one year from now in Fall of 2020. Dan Scheuers and Jim Meinhardt will continue to serve as treasurer and secretary, respectively.
