Continuing the show's record-breaking trajectory, early bird registration week for the 2019 GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo) was the biggest ever. More than 3,700 attendees registered the week of September 2, setting a new weekly record.

Luby Equipment Services, a St. Louis-based CASE Construction Equipment Dealer, has announced the hiring of Mike Adams as Sales Representative. He will be replacing industry veteran Don Castens, who retired at the end of June and was responsible for a 12 county territory based out of the Springfield location.

Under the ‘Transform 2 Win’ strategy, CNH Industrial will reduce operating costs and increase the efficiency of its asset base through targeted restructuring actions and other charges condensed into an efficiency program and certain other initiatives including the 80/20 simplification process, initiated in Q4 2018.

The Equipment Dealers Foundation has announced the program detains for its 2019 Workforce Development Summit. The summit will be held Oct. 16 at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, Ky., ahead of the GIE+Expo. The program includes general sessions and panels.

The webinar is tailored for North American equipment dealers on the issues surrounding illegal engine tampering and best practices to ensure dealerships avoid violations of the Clean Air Act.
