The Equipment Dealers Assn. announces the election of its new chairman of the board, Ivan Dorhout. Dorhout is the owner of Town & Country Implement, a Case IH, New Holland and Kubota dealership with stores in Iowa.

Two family-owned, full-service John Deere dealer groups headquartered in Mexico, Mo., and Waterloo, Ill., announced plans to merge their businesses. Sydenstricker Implement Co. and Wm. Nobbe & Co. have partnered to form Sydenstricker-Nobbe Partners and anticipate officially beginning joint operation of 26 Missouri and Illinois dealerships in January 2020.

Kubota dealer Carrière & Poirier Equipment in Alfred, Ont., recently completed a major expansion of its sales and service operations. Construction of a new, two-level sales showroom, service counter and offices began in September, 2018.
