Ten trade associations representing approximately 6,000 farm, industrial and outdoor power equipment dealers in North America have requested a 5-year renewable exemption from the Electronic Logging Device rule for equipment dealers.

In response to Hurricane Harvey, the Equipment Dealers Foundation (EDF), with support from several regional associations, has released a call to action for their members and the agriculture community as a whole. The groups are asking for donations to EDF’s Disaster Relief Fund which will provide financial aid to victims of the hurricane.

Southeastern Equipment donated two rental machines, both Case TR310 compact track loaders equipped with grapple buckets, to use in cleaning up a hospital complex and neighborhood in Detroit, Mich.
