Alex Power Equipment co-owner David Deakins says the rural lifestyle equipment market is likely to make the transition to being all electric, particularly on the residential side of the business.

As Alex Power Equipment's business as grown and changed over the year, the dealership has had to adapt with those changes. Today Kubota has become a large part of the business, and the ownership team — Allan Buse, Tom Townsend and David Deakins — see that side of the business continuing to grow.

Alex Power Equipment is poised to continue growing the business, and its low turnover in staff will help make that possible. The dealership also has a strong relationship with Alexandria Technical College to help grow the service department.
