The new press line, which recently began production, is expected to more than double press production capabilities, reduce energy consumption, lower noise levels and improve complex forming for sheet metal parts, all of which will help meet the increasing demand for Bobcat equipment. 

Greenworks Commercial, a provider of lithium-ion battery-operated, zero-emission outdoor power equipment, expanded its global footprint by opening the doors to its 180,000-square-foot Commercial Center of Excellence for Manufacturing and Engineering in Morristown, Tenn., its first in North America. 

According to a Nov. 17 report from The Virginia Pilot, Stihl plans to invest $49 million into its Virginia Beach, Va., facility, where it manufacturers chainsaw guide bars.
