The latest market data report from Constellation Data Solutions shows that tractor dealers saw a 2% drop in revenue year-over-year in December. This data is based on “same store” results of dealers who have submitted data each month for 3 years in a row.

In the U.S., tractor dealers reported December revenue was down 3%. Canadian dealers, meanwhile, reported a 15% revenue increase for the month. 

The South saw the largest declines at –9%. Western dealers reported a 1% decline in their December revenue, and for Midwest tractor dealers, revenue was flat year-over-year. Only Northeast dealers saw year-over-year increases in their December revenue, which was up 3%.

The report is based on 1,580 dealers, who during the month sold 306,000 new wholegoods units and did $5 billion in total sales.
