Greenworks Commercial launched its commercial lineup of battery-powered outdoor power equipment at the recent GIE+Expo and the company plans to introduce a zero-turn mower, stand-on mower and battery-powered mower.

OPE models are available now and are distributed through a recently announced partnership with SiteOne Landscape Supply and through independent dealer networks, nationwide. The new mower models are expected to be available in mid 2017and will also be available through SiteOne and independent dealers.

“Four or five years ago, we attempted to start a dealer program, but we didn’t have an applicable platform at the time for dealers. These new commercial products will be a good fit,” says Gray Abercrombie, global marketing manager. “Greenworks offers dealers the opportunity to provide their customers with best-in-class technology and performance with reduced noise and vibration and zero emissions. By also selling batteries — the fuel for Greenworks tools — dealers can capture that additional revenue that was previously being spent at the pump.”

Greenworks uses 82-volt battery technology for its products. Its OPE lineup includes a chainsaw, hedge trimmer, string trimmer, axial blowers, backpack blower and 21-inch lawn mower.

The mower models will include a 52-inch ride-on zero-turn mower; 48-inch stand-on mower and 33-inch walk behind mower.
