Briggs Adds Industry Veterans to Its Commercial Power Team

Briggs & Stratton Corporation (NYSE: BGG) is adding two commercial engine industry veterans to its Commercial Power sales team. The Company is pleased to announce the addition of Randy Lockyear as its Senior Director of Commercial Sales. Lockyear will oversee sales in North America of the corporation's commercial engines, notably its Vanguardâ„¢ brand of engines. In addition, Rick Wendt has joined the Company as Director of Commercial Sales, focusing on the light construction and utility commercial business.

Polaris Industries Inc. Announces Organizational Changes

Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE: PII) today announced that, effective immediately, it is merging its Polaris sales (this announcement has no impact on the Motorcycle sales force), sales operations, service, corporate marketing and interactive team into a unified global customer excellence team led by Tim Larson, vice president of Global Customer Excellence. The company also announced that Bill Fisher, vice president and chief information officer, will retire from Polaris at the end of 2014, necessitating leadership transitions within the company's Information Services organization.

Bandit Industries Backs Away From Alamo Offer

Bandit Industries has announced that the company will remain privately owned, in the hands of current owners Jerry Morey, Mike Morey Sr. and Dianne Morey. The three have elected to turn down the offer from Alamo Group Inc., negating Alamo's pending acquisition of Bandit.
