According to a notice on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website, about 39,000 John Deere ZTrak Zero Turn Mowers with Kawasaki Engines (in addition, about 2,500 in Canada) have been recalled because the voltage regulator inside the mower’s engine can fail while in use or while the product is being stored.

The company reported a 22% increase in domestic sales which were at 22,019 units, compared to 18,028 units in December 2023.
