August revenue for tractor dealers decreased 10% year-over-year, according to Constellation Dealership Software's latest monthly market update, which analyzes transactional sales data from a consistent group of 223 dealers reporting over the past three years.
The report is based on a group of dealers who have reported their data over the previous 3 years. The dealer count, wholegood unit sale count, and total sales numbers above show the actual number of dealers and total sales being analyzed. It represents combined sales of parts in all departments, wholegood sales and service repairs.
Dealers reported $70 million total sales in August 2025, down $8 million from 2024 and down $4 million from July 2025.
U.S. Tractor Sales Fall While Canada is on the Rise
The U.S. market reported a 11% decrease in August revenue. The Northeast was down 12%, with the West increasing by 25% from July to August. The South and Midwest face steeper declines, with an decrease of 18% and 14% respectively. Canada's tractor revenue fell from July to August by 49%, coming in at a 10% increase for August's revenue.
