As a professional traveler, I thought that I had endured every conceivable misfortune that could befall you in a motel. By this time I had spent nearly 6 years on the road, staying in motels 3-4 nights a week.

“Rocks” are the most important 3-7 things that must be accomplished for your business every quarter. They could make the difference in moving your dealership in the direction it should be headed. The concept of rocks is applied as part of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), which is described in a series of books by author and speaker Gino Wickman.

I feel confident saying all of us could stand to improve our productivity. There’s always room to make faster, more accurate decisions about this morning’s priority, tomorrow’s top project and what needs to be pushed to next week.

Now that the global economy has stabilized, it’s time to get back to business as normal. It’s time for the manufacturers to reset MSRPs based on their true input costs.
